I am happy to report that the temperature in NY finally reached the 60's today. George, Clancy, and I are all ready for warmer weather. While on a walk recently, we found a park about 5 blocks from our apartment that has two huge swimming pools! I can only imagine how packed it is with kids during hot summer days, but at least we have the option to go swimming or lay-out.
We had a very happy Easter. George and I dyed Easter eggs and went to our church, Redeemer Presbyterian. I was pretty distraught about the fact that I didn't get a new Easter dress this year, but it was too cold for a dress anyway.
Yesterday was my first day doing my job by myself at work. Lyndsey's, the girl here before me, last day was Friday. Besides being slightly confused with new situations, it is pretty easy and laid back. I normally have stuff to do all day long which makes the day go by fast.
For those of you who don't know, my little sister, Hallie, made middle school cheerleader! I am really proud of her :). She is way better than I ever was at cheerleading.
